Our ethos and philosophy
Carlton Baker Clarke was formed as a chartered certified accountancy practice in 1992 but its roots in the Essex accountancy scene go back much further with so many of the original team being partners in firms elsewhere before joining forces to create a powerful local force in the profession. Converting to limited liability partnership status in 2007, the firm has experienced a tremendous level of growth which has seen it become one of the fast growing independently owned accounting and business services firms across the region in recent years.
Our over riding target as a practice is to maximise the profitability and long term capital values of our clients’ businesses and we do this by providing them with simple and clear long term strategies, then helping them to meet them with regular comparison, analysis and feedback against actual results. Many of our clients have been with us a number of years and have experienced tremendous growth levels in turnover and profitability during this period as we have worked together in partnership to open up the potential they have within.
